Period Three - Simple, Measurable, Powerful.

Since 1994, South Carolina Alliance of Health Plans (SCAHP) has been the unified voice of the Palmetto State’s health insurance industry. As a trade association, SCAHP’s goals are to provide quality health care at affordable prices for the employees and citizens of South Carolina and to protect the industry from unwarranted interference in the evolution, refinement and progress of managed care.

Situation
Not only did SCAHP need a Web site redesign, the organization wanted to use their site to promote upcoming events and to take online registrations, thereby increasing event attendance. SCAHP also wanted to self-manage the site, but did not have the time or staff to commit to learning HTML.

Solution
Period Three started from scratch, building and redesigning, as well as hosting SCAHP’s site. Built with SimpleContent, our content management system, we also constructed a custom event management program so that SCAHP could manage online registrations easily. In less than an hour, we trained SCAHP to use SimpleContent to keep their site up-to-date.

Results
With a quick turn-around of six weeks, Period Three delivered the Web site on time and on budget. SCAHP is pleased with the look and function of the site. SCAHP has never needed help managing it, attesting to SimpleContent’s ease of use. In addition, the web-based system for submitting content approvals to key SCAHP staff, which was created by Period Three, keeps content accurate and consistent.
